Academic Documentation

In this case you are a Nepalese student intending to study abroad, the following is a list that will be able to catalogue all the documents that you will need to prepare:

1. Academic Transcripts

These are school, college or university records that indicate the subjects covered and grades obtained.

2. Degree Certificates

Licensure issued on completing your academic program and receiving the degree; a certificate that officially testifies to this.

3. Recommendation Letters

Teacher or professor or employer letters that describe your academic strengths, personal attributes and prospects of success.
Request them of people who are fully aware of your capabilities and can give specific examples of your accomplishments.

4. Statement of Purpose (SOP)

Personal essay, in which you explain why you are studying abroad, your academic focus, career goals, and the reasons as to why you have selected a specific program or institution.

5. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

A letter that explains your academic history, job history, competencies, credentials and any other outstanding achievements.

6. Results of English Proficiency Test.

Exam mark/score i.e., IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or Duolingo score is a test that establishes your skill in English communication and study.

7. Passport

A legitimate passport is not only obligatory when applying to foreign countries in universities but also when undertaking the visa process.

8. Application Form

In every university, there is a form, which should be completed with proper information. There should be a review of the details before submission.

9. Portfolio (if required)

In the case of students who are applying to one of the creative disciplines, like art, design, or architecture, a portfolio of your finest and most pertinent work is often requested.

10. Research Proposal (where necessary)

Aspiring postgraduate or doctoral students could be required to provide a research proposal as to their topic of study, goals and approach.

11. Evidence of Activities outside the school.

Documents like certificates, awards or letters of participation to show your participation in sports, clubs, volunteer and leadership activities.
